Flaxseed meal provides other supportive micro-nutrients and macro-nutrients including protein, vitamins and minerals. The protein available in flaxseed meal is 60% to 70% biologically available to horses.
AniMed’s Flax Seed Meal, as a nutritional supportive feed supplement, is recommended for horses of all ages and classes. Hard training and working horses, rapidly growing horses, older horses, and horses considered to be "hard keepers" may benefit from the addition of Flax Seed Meal as a top dress to their normal feed ration.
