Wild & Natural® Legends is an animal meat-based formula that includes 3 high-quality animal proteins. It is a special low-ash, high-performance diet without grains and contains high levels of highly digestible ingredients and concentrated sources of nutrients essential for growth.
We use real fresh chicken, exclusive of feathers, heads, feet, and entrails. Herring is a nourishing source of protein providing natural sources of magnesium, iodine, selenium, and essential fatty acids (EFA). EFAs are good skin and coat conditioners and herring is thought to be beneficial for arthritic pets too.
Chicken liver is high in protein, fat, and vitamin A. Vitamin A plays an important role in supporting eye health. Wild dogs and wolves consume small quantities of organ meat such as liver on a regular basis because they usually eat all or most of their prey.
We add L-carnitine which is an important nutrient that acts as a transport for EFAs and assists in the cellular production of energy.
